A RARE genuine Newlyn Cornwall Arts & Crafts Copper Square Inkwell Decorated With Repousse Embossed Shells & A Heart.
Circa 1910, and measures 8cm square approx.
It has good patina on the copper from ageing and use over the years, but no obvious damage - lid just doesn’t close as tightly as would have originally. It does have original glass insert which has a tiny chip on the rim.
Clear Newlyn mark on the base which is a known mark for Newlyn pieces.
