Age related wear and patina to metal and bubbling affect on top half, and slight movement of a little of metal edges away from wooden exterior frame. Wooden frame has scratches and marking, but no obvious chips or cracks

Inkwell is in situ and has ink staining no obvious chips or cracks at the top, and couldn’t remove to assess further.
